If Jesus took a selfie for us today, He would give us an image of the person He wants us to see. Through the scriptures, we can see the kind of messiah Jesus presented to His followers. With a bold declaration he proclaimed himself the way and the truth. Truth is that eternal never changing, consistent, life giving constant upon which we can build everything else. Jesus is not going to show you the truth. He is the truth. He is not just the fact which can change with the multiple variables. He is the truth.
Stop taking Jesus as the suggestion or one of the multiple options. He is also far beyond the fact. As truth, He is eternal and as such must be taken at all times. Remove the negotiation and the multiple choice. Accept the unwavering, resolute, eternal truth that Jesus is the truth. Suddenly doubt is gone alone with the sin that easily entangles. Your faith is solid because now you are resting on the truth. The truth was silence, chocked and killed, then it was buried in an old Roman tomb a sealed with a set of guards. But on the third day, the truth kicked the end out of the grace and eternally resurrected never to be killed again. It is only a matter of time. Truth always prevails.
SCRIPTURE READING: John 14:1-6 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if [it were] not [so,] I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, [there] you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
