MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Human beings are content to keep things as they are and not rock the boat. They are happy to maintain the situation as it has been for years without change or a difference. Not many will fault you for just doing the minimum to keep the lights on. But being influential means stepping out of the mould and making a difference.

We all see things around us that we would like to have different. It may be the situation in your home, your church, city or even your office. Instead of wishing that things would be different you can make a difference. Being influential means you get busy and make a difference where you are. Refuse to fall in line and do business as usual. This situation requires that you stand out and make a difference. Stop talking about what people can do to bring positive change. Get going and be the difference you need to see.

SCRIPTURE READING: Genesis 39:20-23 Then Joseph’s master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison. But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing. The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph’s authority, because the LORD was with him; and whatever he did, the LORD made it prosper.

DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear God, as your child I carry a gene of a difference in this world. May this difference be of great impact to the people around me. Let it bring a positive change in my family, career and business in Jesus’ name, Amen
