A LIFE OF INFLUENCE IS A LIFE OF FAITH

Faith is the ability to believe God for what is invisible and function in the realm where it’s as good as visible until we begin to see what we have believed. Abraham the father of faith was sent out of his people looking to establish a nation, a people and build a city all under the instructions of God. Leaving his family, going on long journeys, spying the land, buying land, living on the frontier and establishing a family was all faith. He influenced many in his days and untold millions after his years because he was a man of influence, a man of faith.

There will be times you have to step out by faith. The price must be paid, as you work with a positive attitude to go out of your comfort zone and demonstrate your faith. Believe God. Hear God. Respond to the voice of God. Live a life of faith, beyond your ability, qualifications, experience and limitations. A life of faith is a life beyond yourself where you do things that surprise everyone including you. Walking with God takes faith and so does influencing your world. Life by faith!

SCRIPTURE READING: Hebrews 11:8-12 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as [in] a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker [is] God. By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born [as many] as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.

DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, teach me to live a life of Faith. May I carry the understanding that what I perceive with my physical eyes is temporal but Your word is eternal in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen
