I was told a story of some woman whose entire tribe was caught up in a civil war. The United Nations came into their refugee camp and begun to process individuals for relocation to Australia and America. The whole tribe refused to be relocated because they had rumours that if they were taken, they would be liquefied into soap. After five years in the camp this woman decided to take a risk and go to Australia. She was the first from her tribe to leave the camps. She arrived in Sydney and was housed in a nice little apartment. Being the winter, the social workers set the heating up in the house which begun to warm up in the night. She remembered the stories in the camp and started screaming her head off as she tried to run out of the apartment. Apparently the heat was the beginning of the process to make soap out of her. Anyways, the social workers came and calmed her down, spent the night in the apartment with her just to prove she wouldn’t be liquefied. Her fears were unreal and after two years of living in Australia, she sent word back to the refugee camps for her tribe mates to come to the west.
The greatest bondage is mental. Many times people are held back and kept away from the goodness of God because of some mental bondage they have. You must find those mental bondages that have been holding you away from the promises of God and break through them. Change your mentality from the lies that have shaped your thinking and begin to see life from the perspective of God. There is a mental bondage that is keeping you from entering and enjoying the promise of God to you. Change you mindset and you will passion yourself to enjoy the blessings of God.
