We often have heard the slogan “attitude is everything”. Though it may not be entirely true, there is an element of truth in the slogan. The moral is our attitude has a lot to do with whether we succeed or don’t in whatever field we are planted. For the children of Israel many of them didn’t actualize the promise of enjoying the land promised because they doubted God. But when this is looked at closely it stems from the negative attitude and words of the ten spies. The negative attitude of the ten spies got the better of them that the enemies didn’t even have to lift a finger. It’s like they had pressed a self-destruct button. This eventually rubbed onto the whole congregation. Not so with Caleb and Joshua who saw God’s ability in and through them to defeat the inhabitants of the land. They actually did see this become a reality. Get ready to possess the land as you trade every negative attitude with one based on God’s Word and promise.

SCRIPTURE READING: Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction for what He has promised. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?

DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank you for your promises that you have given me to counter every attack of the enemy in my mind and attitude as I possess the promised land in Jesus Name, Amen
