We always enjoy seeing our favorite sportsman or woman being adorned with the medals after winning the race or match. But often, we forget that this all woundn’t be possible without them taking of time to develop strength and stamina in their field of sport. When the day of reckoning comes that’s not the time to run to the gym or race track to train. It is the day to show forth what has been done in secret. The same is true about the need for us to develop spiritual strength and stamina so that when we are up against the task of taking on the giants in the land we have been given to possess we will not faint but get up and go get the job done. This we will do as we spend time communing with the Lord and pray in the spirit.
