Words have creative potential. Words are what God used to create the universe: the heavens and the earth. That is why it is important what we say especially in times when our backs are against the wall. Sadly to say, the battle lines shouldn’t be drawn on the day of crisis. They should be drawn during our time spent in practicing spiritual disciplines like studying and meditating of the Word as well as aligning our confession with God’s Word. The word to confess simply means to say the same thing. Confession in this context means saying the same thing as God does about anything and everything. Has God said by His stripes you were healed? That’s what His word says. So, that’s what your confession should be. Has God promised to supply all your needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus? Wait a minute! That’s what His Word says. Then that’s your confession concerning provision. Remember : ” Confession leads to possession” Don’t allow your tongue to talk you out of your promised land like some of the Israelites did. Choose to use your tongue to talk yourself into possessing the land that God has in store for you.
SCRIPTURE READING: Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it for death or life[Matt. 12:37.]
DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I Pray that you teach me to align my Words through my confession to your Word in Jesus Name, Amen.
