The Israelites had to fight for the Promised Land even though it was promised to them hundreds of years before. When it was time to enter the land Moses sent twelve spies to spy the land. Two of them saw victory. Ten saw defeat even before fighting. The losers said the inhabitants looked like giants.

They said they looked “like grasshoppers in their own eyes.” They were filled with fear not faith! Your mentality is everything in life. If you look at the giants you will lose. If you look at what God can do to the giants, you are already a winner. What giants are you dealing with in your life? See yourself a winner.

SCRIPTURE READING: Numbers 13:30-33 “Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, ‘We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.’ But the men who had gone up with him said, ‘We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.’ And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, ‘The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.’”

DEVOTION PRAYER: Lord we thank you for the opportunity of believing in you. Thank you for victory. Thank you that I can do all things through you who gives me strength.  Help Me Lord in Jesus’ name!
