THRIVING IN THE STORM

There are some special times when people don’t just understand purpose in the storm or simply survive the storm, but they thrive in the storm. Many people are stunned by tough circumstances and left inactive and paralyzed. Yet every storm offers outstanding opportunities. During the global storm of covid 19, some people are making strategic moves and thriving in the storm. As bad as the situation maybe, there are great opportunities available and some people are going to maximise them.

Open your eyes and your spirit to what God is doing through this season. Draw on the partnerships you have in life to bring value to your situation. Activate your faith and put it to work as you step out beyond yourself in creativity. Be quick and speedy to make the most of the opportunity during the life time of that opportunity. You will certainly thrive in whatever storm of life.

SCRIPTURE READING: Matthew 14:24-31 But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out [His] hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”
