Life some times tends to be very ordinary. Nothing special, nothing divine, almost boring . Lets face it, the majority of people have to deal with the ordinary every day. As a matter of fact, there is more ordinary every day and every where.
However, some individuals have learnt over the years to see something special in the ordinary and to make something divine out of it. As long as your heart and mind are open, you can begin to see something beautiful even in the ordinary.
Open your eyes to see outstanding opportunities in the midst of your ordinary situations. Don’t wait for the bells and whistles to alert you of the hidden. That’s why it’s hidden. No bells and whistles. There are many awesome opportunities hidden in the ordinary. Look beyond the spectacular and see the supernatural. Find outstanding opportunities in the ordinary around you.
SCRIPTURE READING: John 1:45-50 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!” Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” Nathanael answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!” Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.”
DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, am grateful for the opportunities that you have placed before me. My mind and heart are open.
