Moses grew up in royalty, luxury and abundance. He went to the best universities, worked for the best employer and had a guaranteed pension as a master builder, senior army Commander and in line to the throne.
When he suddenly saw his calling and destiny, he refused to live the good life promised by the world and instead chose to live the faith life promised by God. The faith of God inside him pushed him to say no to many things, most of which were actually good and acceptable because faith says no.
The faith of God in your heart some times will push you to refuse certain things. Some are out right wrong and evil, others are subtle and sly evil while are good others are even good. Faith refuses to conform and chooses to follow God. What are the things you need to refuse today? learn to say no!
SCRIPTURE READING: Hebrews 11:24-27 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, Your Faith in me teaches me truth and boldness. I refuse to conform to the deception of this worldly system in Jesus’name amen.
