Through out Hebrews 11, the famous hall of faith, the Bibles mentioned many names and what they did. Some of those things done were really incredible. No one is mentioned in that chapter without the mention of their actions. Faith therefore is defined by what is done.
Every time you find yourself needing to exercise faith, you should also find an appropriate faith action that will activate and release your faith. It’s not enough to have a belief. You must do something that corresponds to your belief then you will be walking in faith. What can you do today to release your faith?
SCRIPTURE READING: Hebrews 11: 32-35 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also [of] David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Am grateful for Your word oh Lord that activates my faith to believe the impossible, amen.
