Noah heard the voice of God clearly declare the future to him. A great global flood was coming that would end the world as known. Everyone and every animal would be killed by water. Noah being a man of faith begun to prepare that coming future. He built the largest vessel ever equipped to survive this catastrophic flood. By the time the story ends. The whole world is under water and everyone outside the ark was dead. Faith had prepared by faith.
Have you heard from God about your tomorrow? It takes faith to hear God. Have you begun to prepare yourself in retrospect to that future? Let’s get busy doing things that connect to what we are going to be doing tomorrow. Do things that prepare your destiny. Faith is not irresponsible but rather a responsible reaction to the word of God. Let’s prepare for tomorrow by faith.
SCRIPTURE READING: Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Loving Father, Your word prepares my faith to a place of responsibility. May I continuously grow into this reality to the glory of your name, Amen.
