Daily Devotion

Enoch was a very unique man. His walk with God was characterized by one major thing. He was so intimate with God that God just took him. He sought God. He knew God and His ways. This boils down to the fact that seeking an invisible God means faith. He believed what He had not seen. This is just like God. He believes what He has not seen. God believed in every thing He created before He created it, so He created it.

When you believe before you see, you are being just like God your father and that pleases Him. The God nature believes before it sees. The earthly nature first sees before it believes and it’s the opposite of the God nature.

Every act of faith pleases God as He sees Himself in you. Words of faith please God. Prayer pleases God. All faith expectations please God. So let’s step up our faith and God will have a big smile all day long.

SCRIPTURE READING: Hebrews 11:5-6 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, [ “and was not found, because God had taken him”]; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith [it is] impossible to please [Him,] for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and [that] He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father it’s such an honor to be taught by You. Your faith takes me to places that no man can. May I continue to be pleasing in your sight, amen.
