Your position determines your experience. Two people in a football stadium watching the same game will have two different experiences depending on where they are seated in the stadium. The one seated at the top will enjoy a birds view of the game while the one next to the touchline will have an up-close encounter.
If you want to change your experience you need to start by changing your position. Joseph in the prison had a terrible experience and understood that he needed to change his position. He asked the butler to remember him. When Pharoah had a complex dream, Joseph seized the moment to reposition himself.
This is a season when you have to strategically reposition yourself. There are several specific things that have not been working for you and you must make the most of the moment and get repositioned in those areas of life.
SCRIPTURE READING: Genesis 40:12-15 And Joseph said to him, “This [is] the interpretation of it: The three branches [are] three days. Now within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your place, and you will put Pharaoh’s cup in his hand according to the former manner, when you were his butler. But remember me when it is well with you, and please show kindness to me; make mention of me to Pharaoh, and get me out of this house. For indeed I was stolen away from the land of the Hebrews; and also I have done nothing here that they should put me into the dungeon.”
DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear God, teach me to reposition myself for what You’re doing this season in Jesus name amen.
