When change comes, the first thing that happens is the breaking of whatever cycle has been going on around us. Human beings are creatures of habit and as such, we get comfortable with the familiar and establish a cycle to what we do.
However, change comes to break the cycles we may have established and get us into new things. Change means that the routine is over and everything is different from what it used to be. The routine must be flipped.
What cycles have you been used to? What are the things you have been doing in the same old way? How can you do things different? How can you flip the script and get a total new approach to life? Change means that the cycle is broken and new things must be embraced.
SCRIPTURE READING: Isaiah 48:6 You have heard my predictions and seen them fulfilled, but you refuse to admit it. Now I will tell you new things, secrets you have not yet heard.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear God, Your word is clear, I break out of routine and embrace newness. I now live in the newness of life in Jesus name.
