Living in a corrupt and fallen world means you are swimming against the tide. The world and the devil are not going to cooperate with you and lay out the red carpet as you march towards your destiny. On the contrary they will resist, discourage, and fight you at every turn possible. The devil didn’t promise to leave you alone as you go through life. The world has not signed you on to a world peace contract. They will throw everything possible at you. The fact is that your values, principles, joys, objectives and everything else about you is contrary to the world and as such everyday you step out of your home is a fight. That is why the Bible calls it the good fight of faith.
Financial prosperity is part of the good fight of faith. You should not be surprised when the system resists and fights you. They fought your master Jesus to the point of death. We all want it to be the rosey walk of faith but that’s not what it is. Prepare your heart and mind to fight your way to victory. Prosperity requires that you are resolute, diligent and hardworking. It requires that you have a fighters mentality. The world wants what you have and are doing everything possible to snatch it out of your hands. There is nothing that they will stop at.
But there is nothing as a good as a fixed fight. God has allowed the fight but He has fixed the outcome. Jesus has already obtained the victory and all you are doing is to enforce that victory. God will not allow His children to be over run by the world. Stand in your place as called by God and He will fight the battles on your behalf. In prayer and faith, you stand as a child of God and spiritually enforce the victory while leveraging that victory in the natural. Fight for your business, fight for your family and fight for your church. Remember, Jesus has already won the victory for you.
SCRIPTURE READING: 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, am grateful for these wonderful teachings concerning the life of faith. I choose to fight the good fight of faith.
