RECEIVING FAITH

We have the fighting faith, the praying faith, the giving faith, the waiting faith but we must also walk in the receiving faith. Many times you see people exercise all kinds of faith until it comes to the place of receiving and they just don’t know what to do. Some have even gone as far as refuse to receive because they want to keep fighting and pressing forward as a good warrior. We must activate our receiving faith.

The story is told of a Vietnamese fighter who was fighting against the Americans in the 60’s. He was separated from his comrades and kept going deep into the jungle. The war ended but this chap had no clue and kept doing his thing for forty years. He was eventually found as an old man fighting a war that had ended decades ago. It is possible to keep fighting a war that has ended. It is also possible to keep believing for something that’s already been given because we don’t know how to receive it.

Receiving faith means you open your heart and mind to walk into the promise of God. You go beyond the current situation and begin to live in the future victory of the cross. You take a step into the promises of God and receive them by faith and walk in them even before they are seen in the natural. You walk in the joy, peace, victory and celebration of the victory even before the victory is announced or manifested. Let us learn how to receive the good grace of God and walk in prosperity and increase in Jesus name.

SCRIPTURE READING: Hebrews 11:11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.

DEVOTION PRAYER: My Jesus, today I open my heart and mind to walk into your promises. I receive them by faith, amen.
