Daily Devotion

Life is a game of patience. From the cradle to the grave, one’s ability to patiently work through the various variables determines how they maximise the moments. No doubt there are times you have to aggressively advance through the opportunities but patience’s paramount even when making quick progress. And that is where the testing of your faith and the many tests in life come to work incredible value.

God will allow many tests in your life so they can work to build patience in you. Having to deal with that testing situation can be very positive and build a very strong character. The people we admire have developed their wonderful characters by having to go through certain tests and grow their patience threshold to the levels we admire. It is easy to be patient when there is no pressure, fire or challenges and totally different when you have to endure things that are not comfortable. Remember, your tests and trials are building your patience.

SCRIPTURE READING: Hebrews 10:34-36 for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven. Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

DEVOTION PRAYER: Oh God! am grateful for these tests that are building patience in me. I see myself growing every other day to the glory of your name, amen.
