Your faith is a very important part of who you are and what you become. Strong faith means you will be strong as an individual while weak faith means you will be weak as a person, tossed back and forth, unable to do what you must do with your life. Your Christian life follows the direction of your faith. Your natural life follows the direction of your faith. Growing your faith must be your deliberate priority. You give it the focus and whatever it takes.
You must therefore deliberately feed your faith on the word of God. The Bible is spiritual food for your soul and spirit which when consumed in the right amounts and the proper frequency will result in your faith growing. In the natural we eat food to grow yet we some how expect our spirit and faith to grow without spiritual food. Give your faith the word of God on a daily basis. Feed your faith with testimonies of what God has done for others as evidence of what He will do for you and your faith will grow. Feed your faith and starve your doubts
SCRIPTURE READING: Romans 10:16-19 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, [ “LORD, who has believed our report?”] So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed: [” Their sound has gone out to all the earth,] [And their words to the ends of the world.”] But I say, did Israel not know? First Moses says: [” I will provoke you to jealousy by] [those who are] [not a nation,] [I will move you to anger by a] [foolish nation.”]
DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I choose to feed my faith in this season. Your word is my deliberate priority in Jesus name amen.
