Though faith is of the heart and begins in our hearts, it is meant to be expressed through our speech but also through our actions. We see several people through whom God worked having not only believed God’s word and spoken in line with the word but also took actions that caused them to realize the promises of God. Many times we are asking God to move yet on many occasions He is waiting for us to take a step of faith. For Noah, it was building that ark. For Abel it was offering His special sacrifice to God. When ever we seek God for divine intervention, He will always give us instructions, which when we obey cause us to experience His blessings upon our lives. Don’t be afraid or succumb to the devil’s intimidation but take that faith inspired action as you prepare the scene for God to show Himself strong on your behalf in Jesus Name.
SCRIPTURE READING: James 2:17-21 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, Grant me the boldness to take the faith inspired actions to realise your promises in Jesus Name, Amen.
