Daily Devotion

Understanding destiny is an important step in the direction of fulfilling the purpose of life. Ignorance is expensive. Many have gone as far as losing their lives because they didn’t understand or walk in their destiny. It is your responsibility to find and walk in your destiny. It is not a hard thing either as many suggest. The difficult part is surrendering to that destiny.

Starting with prayer, you ask God to speak to you and guide you. Confirmation after God has spoken is paramount and that can be sought by trusting other spiritual people in your life to pray with you in the same direction. Observing and understanding your gifts and talents is eye opening. God will give you the gifts you need to fulfil destiny. Your passions are also a good indicator as God gives you the heartfelt drive to fulfil destiny. But I must encourage you to be patient like someone putting together a jigsaw puzzle. Some times the bit picture becomes clearer as we get more pieces of the puzzle sorted and placed. One thing is a must, total surrender to your Creator because you have the faith that He will take you to your destiny.

SCRIPTURE READING: Daniel 9:1-3 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the lineage of the Medes, who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans— in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years [specified] by the word of the LORD through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.

DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear God, I am grateful for teaching me how to understand and walk in my destiny, amen.
