The fulfilment of destiny is the result of a life long process that takes you through many places on the way to the top. Many people get to find out their destiny but never get to enter it for one reason or another. The key word here being process, we must be careful to submit ourselves to the process of God in order to fulfil our destiny.
Many things may try to take you away from the process of God. There are times we may even feel like we are wasting our time. The process is not easy and many give up along the way. Joseph in Genesis knew what his destiny was through the many dreams God gave him. But the process of getting to that destiny wasn’t easy yet he couldn’t get there without that process. From his father’s house through the pit, Portiphar`s house, the dungeon and onto the palace, this was a process crucial to his destiny.
Don’t skip the process. Refuse the shortcut. Keep your eyes on the prize and stay focused as you march on towards your destiny. The process may get painful at times but don’t forget the reward that awaits you. Nothing is more fulfilling than your destiny. Keep your heart on your destiny as you submit to the process of God.
SCRIPTURE READING: Genesis 50:15-20 When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “Perhaps Joseph will hate us, and may actually repay us for all the evil which we did to him.” So they sent [messengers] to Joseph, saying, “Before your father died he commanded, saying, ‘Thus you shall say to Joseph: “I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did evil to you.”‘ Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father.” And Joseph wept when they spoke to him. Then his brothers also went and fell down before his face, and they said, “Behold, we [are] your servants.” Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for [am] I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; [but] God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as [it is] this day, to save many people alive.
