While we don’t have to enjoy the things of our destiny in order to fulfil them, we certainly must learn to enjoy them in order to be successful and outstanding at them. Those that don’t enjoy what they do will not do it as well, as effective and as long as they potentially would, if they enjoyed them. You spend more time, effort, creativity and strength on the things you enjoy.
We can all learn to enjoy the things that concern our destiny more each day. We can deliberately make the effort to actually enjoy the things we do without all the pressure from our peers. Get your heart, passion, time and joy to lock into those things that are about your destiny so you can enjoy walking in destiny more. Enjoying your destiny will not only give you longevity but also outstanding success as you live for God. Let us make God and His purpose the greatest joy of our lives. Don’t give your heart to the passing pleasures of this world. They will do you no good and leave you empty and dead. Make God the centre of your life and your joy. His presence and His word moving you more than the the things of the world.
SCRIPTURE READING: Psalms 27:1-5 The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD [is] the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I [will be] confident. One [thing] I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear God, help me understand the importance of destiny and its enjoyment in Jesus name amen.
