We all like to have positive individuals surrounding us. They bring energy, hope, joy, excitement, peace and motivation. We actually seek out such people that make us forget all the things that may have been going wrong and cause us to focus on the good things around us. We also deliberately avoid negative individuals. They drain life out of you and dealing with them is so bad and overwhelming, you don’t want to do it again.
What we must deliberately do is become the positive, thankful and grateful individual that everyone wants to be around. We do it by choosing to look for the good and be grateful for all that God is doing. Ignore the negative and train your eye and your mouth to find the best in people and in any situation. You will eventually look so good and attractive, everyone will want to be around you. Remember, thanksgiving makes you attractive.
SCRIPTURE READING: Psalms 33:1-3 Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous! [For] praise from the upright is beautiful. Praise the LORD with the harp; Make melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings. Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank you for this joy that overwhelms my heart. I sing praises to your name, hallelujah.
