Perception is being able to see something, understand it’s dynamics and get into the emotions that surround it. Basically it means you grasp the whole thing in your heart and mind. This takes getting your heart and mind into the situation and being able to discern what it is about. Discernment is a thing we must teach ourselves over time. Go beyond the eyes and ears, to a place where you can make sense of what the eyes and ears are giving you.
The new year you have entered is presenting new challenges and opportunities to all. What you need is the ability to perceive what is going on around you so you can embrace what is yours. Don’t just read the news, let’s discern the situations in our world. Go beyond the announcements, the words, the needs and the challenges, so you can understand the opportunities available and the direction you should take to get into what is yours. Go beyond the surface and get to the bottom of the matter. Learn to discern and perceive what God has in store for you.
