Life on earth is greatly affected by our financial position. What we do, how we do it, when we do it and why we do it are all affected by our financial position. We spend most hours of our days grappling with the issue of how to make money and earn a living. Our money is a representation of what we have been doing with our time. Every adult human being alive today must therefore give serious priority to their financial situation.
You must dedicate yourself to earning a living by doing something that will give financial productivity to your life. You must also learn how to prioritise your expenditure. I have come across many individuals who are struggling financially, not because they didn’t get enough money but because they didn’t handle it prudently. You must discipline yourself to handle your finances in a manner that will give you best value at that particular time, and also keep the finances flowing in your life. Ditch the emotional expenditure where you blow your resources like there is no tomorrow. Remember, first things must always be first.
SCRIPTURE READING: Proverbs 21:17 He who loves pleasure [will be] a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Dear God, thank you for teaching me to handle my finances prudently
