You are the primary beneficiary of all your actions and the most fertile ground for your seed. While we are in hurry to sow into others and make things happen everywhere, we must learn to sow into our lives. Sowing is putting seed in good ground and taking care of it until it grows into that harvest we need. If you put your precious seed at your neighbours garden, chances are you will not nurture that seed into its full potential. Best to plant your seed in your garden.
This is a great season for you to invest and plant seed in your personal life. Get back to school, refresh your wardrobe, improve your skills, get yourself some real good makeup, get that bike you need to exercise and stay fit. Sow seed into yourself. I am not encouraging you to waste your resources but rather to put your seed into your own life and make it better.
While you can make the world a better place with your seed, let us start with making you a better place. You can achieve more, go further, change your environment, break the poverty cycle and turn your life around but investing in you. So what areas of your life need your seed? What’s going to make you better and improve you? Make the effort to invest in yourself today.
SCRIPTURE READING: 2 Corinthians 9:6 But this [I say:] He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Oh God, teach me to sow bountifully in my personal life, amen.
