God warned Egypt through Joseph that a long famine was coming that would change the world. In preparation God had granted seasons of abundance so the world would be well prepared. Joseph was tasked to work with the nation to create the largest food reserve program the world had ever seen. For seven hard labour years, he worked day and night to not only grow, nurture, harvest and store grain that was compared to the sand on the seashore. He was consolidating a vision that proved to be the foundation for a new Egypt as the major superpower for the coming hundreds of years. He basically worked hard to take the nation to a place of no return. The years of famine did come and we all know the story, while the nations of the world crumbled, Egypt rose to the peak. Joseph had consolidated and established a modern marvel of a nation like no other.

Seasons come and season go but with every going we can consolidate and establish something that is generational. There is limit and misery in having to replant, reinvent and redo everything every time. There comes a place and time when you must consolidate and permanently fix whatever you are doing, you don’t have to do it again and again. You can set up systems that work themselves without you. The hustle you are running doesn’t have to be run the same way all the time. Think consolidating and establishing so you can breakthrough to the next level.

If you were a farmer I would be moving you from these perennial crops that require the same labour and effort each season to something more permanent like trees. Obviously many things have different dynamics but, growing tomatoes means going through the same thing every fours to six months. Now farming fruit trees means you go through four to five years getting those trees established and consolidated then you are set for several decades to come. An apple tree will take about five to seven years of nurturing but will give you fruit for another fifty or so years. It takes strategic wisdom and spiritual actions get into consolidating so you break through the cycle.
