An open minded study of the scriptures shows any one that cares to study that it is part of God’s plan to prosper His people. I know there have always been folk with opposite opinions about this but that doesn’t change what God’s plan is. To begin with, it’s important for us to understand what Kingdom Prosperity is. To prosper means to do well in a particular field or area of specialty. From God’s word, we see that He desires His children to do well in all they are engaged in whether it is spiritual, has to do with their souls or it’s in the natural. It’s also important to note that though God desires to bless us with material things and wealth, Kingdom Prosperity is not just limited to that.
Kingdom Prosperity goes beyond just having material things. Kingdom Prosperity includes having salvation of one’s soul, peace of mind, favor, health, good social connections as well as material things. It’s interesting to note that as Jesus hang on that cross, He paid for our sins to be forgiven so that our souls will be saved as we surrender to Him, our sickness to be healed as well as our poverty to be dealt with. It’s all part of the package and we need to see it as well as handle it that way. To do contrary is tantamount to rebellion against God’s plan.
