It’s been commonly said that it’s nice to teach a man how to fish rather than keep giving them fish. The moral of the saying is that the former empowers the man with the skill but also points them to the source of the fish. That way they can have as much fish as they desire or are willing to put time into to catch from the fish source. It is important for us to register it in our hearts and minds that Almighty God is the source of any and every blessing we need in life. He deserves the right to use any channel or avenue to deliver it but He still remains the source. Once that is settled in our hearts, we will be ready to receive from God like we really are expecting it from Him. No mountain or valley, angel or demon will hinder us from receiving what God has in store for us. Let’s learn to look to Him for our supply.
