Seasons for sowing come with opportunities for doing so but also with challenges that come along or amidst those opportunities. In the natural, sowing seasons usually start with showers of rain. This means the mornings are cold and sometimes wet. Other times, it may be muddy but none of these challenges impedes the sower from preparing and sowing their seed. They endure the challenges faced inspired by the upcoming season of reaping and harvesting. Every child of God needs to maximize these seasons cause they set us up for the seasons of harvesting. These are seasons for working extra hard, sacrificing and doing whatever needs to be done. Whatever we do in the seasons of sowing also determines the kind and size of harvest we are to bring in. May God give us the wisdom to discern the seasons of sowing and the grace to maximize them.
SCRIPTURE READING: Psalm 126.6 – He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
DEVOTION PRAYER: Heavenly Father, Grant me the wisdom to discern the seasons of sowing that you bring me into as well as the grace to sow according to the harvest that you have in store in Jesus Name, Amen
